Forum Terms and Conditions of Use
Registering for an account on www.ncpei.com grants the user the privilege to participate in the NCPEI forums by way of creating new topics, posting replies to topics and/or posts from other users, and posting comments to different content types. Users are expected to behave in a responsible, mature fashion and show the proper respect and online etiquette to other users. This privilege can be revoked by the NCPEI at any time and for any reason. Any negative behavior such as flaming, derogatory comments, excessive swearing, racist comments, advertising, spam, or constant negativity will not be tolerated. Users may or may not receive a warning regarding their behavior before disciplinary actions are taken such as revoking forum privileges or suspending an account.
Ownership of Data
All information/data submitted to the site immediately becomes the sole property of the NCPEI except in cases of copyright infringement. By uploading information/data to the site, you agree that you are the owner of the information/data or that you have the owner’s permission to upload the information/data, and that you are not violating any copyright laws. While NCPEI takes immediate ownership of any images uploaded to the site, in keeping in line with the good relationship with the public, NCPEI will listen to any issues from the public regarding their inclusion in an image displayed or made available on the site. NCPEI reserves the right to make the final decision on whether to take any actions such as removing the image, blurring out the individual, or cutting them out of the image entirely.
Right to Terminate Accounts
Native Council of Prince Edward Island respects the rights (including the intellectual property rights, right not to be bullied, intimidated, etc.) of others and we ask our users to do the same. Native Council of Prince Edward Island may in appropriate circumstances and in its sole discretion, terminate the accounts of users that infringe or otherwise violate such rights of others. NCPEI reserves the right to choose the disciplinary action with the most extreme being the termination of a user’s account and other measures taken to prevent access to the site.
